Item Upgrader
Section titled “Item Upgrader”Item Upgrader lets players transform a held item into a configured result through a protected graphical menu. Every upgrade can define its source identity, output item, quantity, success chance, Vault price, required ingredients, enchantment behavior, item flags, model data, and failure result.
The plugin supports vanilla materials and custom items from Oraxen, ItemsAdder, and EcoItems. Multiple recipes can form upgrade chains, while permissions and allowed-world settings control where the menu is available.
Get Started
Section titled “Get Started” Getting Started Install Item Upgrader and verify its dependencies and generated files.
Upgrade Flow Follow an item from validation through confirmation, payment, success, or failure.
Creating Upgrades Build a complete upgrade recipe and test it safely.
Commands
Section titled “Commands” Player Command Open the upgrade menu for the item held in the main hand.
Admin Commands Reload files, inspect versions, give recipe items, and manage access.
Configuration
Section titled “Configuration” config.yml Configure confirmation, permissions, worlds, source materials, sounds, addons, and ingredient removal.
messages.yml Customize command feedback, validation messages, and both menu layouts.
upgrades.yml Reference every source, output, chance, price, enchantment, metadata, and ingredient option.
Features
Section titled “Features” Chances and Economy Control success rolls, failed items, Vault withdrawals, and result placeholders.
Required Items Require exact ingredient names, lore, amounts, and enchantment levels.
Enchantments and Metadata Merge or reset enchants and configure flags, durability, model data, tooltips, and armor trims.
Custom Items Use Oraxen, ItemsAdder, and EcoItems identifiers in recipes and menus.
Chained Upgrades Connect result items to later recipes without ambiguous source matching.
