Permissions
Permission Nodes
Section titled “Permission Nodes”Every node below defaults to operator. portbridge.admin grants the four child command permissions.
| Permission | Grants |
|---|---|
portbridge.admin | Full Port Bridge administration |
portbridge.status | Status panels and command help |
portbridge.address | Address panels, copy controls, and connection announcements |
portbridge.manage | Tunnel startup, shutdown, and restart |
portbridge.reload | Validated configuration and message reloads |
Status and Address Access
Section titled “Status and Address Access”Status access shows the connection state and diagnostic details. Give portbridge.address to players who should receive the public join address and copy controls.
The address permission does not grant tunnel management. Grant portbridge.manage separately to trusted players who should start, stop, or restart the connection.
Joining-Player Notifications
Section titled “Joining-Player Notifications”The optional notification uses notifications.on-admin-join in config.yml and requires portbridge.address.
The delayed callback rechecks the player, current preference, permission, and tunnel state before sending a panel. Turning off the setting disables this automatic notification while retaining the /port address command.
Chat Controls and Denials
Section titled “Chat Controls and Denials”Chat panels hide actions the sender cannot use. Displaying a copy control does not grant management permissions; typed commands and clicked actions follow the same permission checks.
Customize framework denial text under acf.acf-core.permission_denied in messages.yml. See the command reference for the permission required by each action.
