Chat Interface

Maze Engine presents its controls in Minecraft chat. These screenshots were captured in-game against a dark block backdrop, with previous messages cleared between panels. Each image focuses on the panel; select it to enlarge it without leaving the page.

Open chat to interact with the buttons. Hover a command or row for additional details. Available actions depend on your permissions and the maze’s current state.

Run /maze help to browse commands for building, previewing, and navigating. Clicking a command fills the chat input so you can complete its arguments before submitting it.

/maze help concepts explains terms in short cards with example commands. This captured view shows Seed and Complexity, followed by page navigation. Scroll up in chat to see the panel heading, or use Next to browse the other concepts.

The core concepts guide expands these explanations with sizing examples and links to the relevant settings.

/maze presets lists themes with their configured difficulty, path width, and wall height. Hover a row for details; clicking it suggests a preview command. Previous and Next navigate the available themes.

/maze list displays saved mazes with their theme, cell dimensions, and current status. Click a row to open its management panel.

/maze info <name> displays the saved geometry, world position, graph statistics, seed, snapshot availability, and teleport destination. The example below is a ready Hedge maze.

Maze Details for docs_hedge showing geometry, readiness, seed 42, snapshot status, and Teleport, Guide, Repair, Copy seed, and Delete buttons

Teleport moves you to its destination, Guide enables your personal route arrows, and Copy seed copies the generation seed. Repair rebuilds planned non-air structure; Delete opens a removal review. Read operations and recovery before choosing a world-editing action.

After a preview finishes planning, its panel summarizes the retained specification. Move outside the target volume, then choose Create to submit it for construction. Close ends the preview.

Maze Preview confirmation with theme, dimensions, path and wall sizes, ceiling, and Create and Close buttons

/maze solve <name> enables personal arrows toward the exit. The chat panel identifies the maze and provides Close guide. Enter the maze’s corridors to follow the arrows; the panel itself does not teleport you.
